Remember Alex Brown

Last night my family and i watched the Extreme Home Makeover Edition.  The family they had on was the most amazing Family ever!  Here is their story: We lost our daughter, Alex Brown, in a single car accident as she drove to what seemed like just another ordinary day of her senior year in high school. Although no other vehicles were involved, Alex was not alone. The cell phone on which she had sent and receive over 10,000 text messages in the weeks preceding her accident was with her. Alex lost her life to texting while driving.  Although Alex is no longer with us, her memory lives. We hope you choose to do the same. After  watching the show and reading more about the Brown Family i will NEVER text and drive again.  Go here to take the pledge to never text while driving.  It is something so silly that can be totally prevented.  The Brown Family goes to many schools to Inform teenagers about the dangers of texting while driving.  I was thinking what can i do to spreed the word about not texting while driving.  This is what i came up with.  You have 2 ways to choose any of my necklaces. First Haircut!

Today was my first haircut (only been in school for like 3 weeks)!!  It went really good, my mom was so nice to let me do a little trim on her!  Thanks mom!

 Then i did a cute little up-do on my friend Melinda!!  Today was a fun day, oh yeah and i got a pedicure!  Love school!!

Today it...

Snowed!!  At first i was not excited, but it was fun to have lunch while it was snowing.  Yes i know my hair is sticking up, oh well!!  Thanks for all the Chocolate Chip Cookie recipes!  Hopefully this weekend i will be able to start trying them out!!  I'm so excited, thank you!!

Mondays are wonderful

I love Mondays!  Why?? I don't have school.  I love school, but it is nice to get a little break.  So today i studied for my Big Big  test thats tomorrow while walking/running on our awesome treadmill!

Texas Roadhouse

Yes that's right..I went to Texas Roadhouse tonight!! Its totally my favorite restaurant ever, even when you have to wait over an hour!  Its so worth it!  So while my friends and i waited we went over to Rue 21.  Guess what???  I got this black/white coat for $12!  Awesome, i love it!

I have now been in school for one week, and loving it!  The other day my instructor paid for the girls in my class to go out to lunch at The Pizza Factory!  She is the BEST!!  So far i have done....

Today I'm grateful that my Grandma, Mom, and i could go to Olive Garden for my Moms Birthday.  Guess who else was there??  The guy from Sister Wives and a couple of the Wives.

Another Good Day

Today was my second day at school and went really good!  Now I'm just studding for my first test that is  tomorrow!!  Wow it is so weird to study.  It has been a long time since i had to study. ha Wish me luck, I will need it!

First Day....

....of HAIR SCHOOL!! It was a great day, i loved it!  I cant believe I'm actually in school! My instructors are so nice, and the girls in my class are way nice as well.  The senior students made the girls that just started breakfast!  It was so fun, love it!

I never really thought about making my blog anonymously.  When i made my blog it was really for me to write down what i did that day, and is still like that now!! 

2. Describe an incident that shows your inner stubborn side.

Me being stubborn is winning like a dumb little argument.  Umm an example would be like when a song is on the radio and we try and guess what movie its from.  I totally know I'm right!  I don't no..simple stuff like that i guess. ha 

3. What do you see when you really look at yourself in the mirror?


When i look in the mirror i usually look at myself and start thinking that i wish i had better skin, or WOW my eyebrows are so bad.  But when i step back and really think about myself I'm grateful for what i have, that I'm able to see, hear, and talk.  Simple things like that are taken for granted too much.

 4. What is your favourite summer cold drink?


Summer drink in Arizona would definitely be WATER!!  But i love Diet Dr. Pepper.

5. When you take time for yourself, what do you do?

I like to read books and magazines!  Or watch a good movie!


6. Is there something that you still want to accomplish in your life?


I would love to get married and have kids!  I cant wait to be a mom.

7. When you attended school, were you the class clown, the class overachiever, the shy person, or always ditching

At first I'm the shy person but when i get to know people i talk more! About ditching i had a couple of those.  Some friends and i would leave school and go to Ihop!  FREE PANCAKES!



8. If you close your eyes and want to visualize a very poignant moment in your life, what would you see?

Umm i don't no...Sorry!  Or maybe i don't even know what that means!

9. Is it easy for you to share your true self in your blog, or are you more comfortable writing posts about other people and events?


I really don't mind sharing about myself!  I know that I'm the one sharing it and if i want to everyone to know something i probably wont post it!  I have really enjoyed blogging, i think i have learned more about myself then ever!  You can go back and look at a post and be like if i accomplished that i can defiantly do this!  



10. If you had the choice to sit down and read a book or talk on the phone, which would you choose and why?


Read a book.  I love that you can make up a story in you head, it is also really relaxing for me.

3 Days!

Guess what i start hair school on Wednesday!  I cant believe it has come so fast.  I cant wait, I'm so excited to start!  Even better in September my cousin will be coming to the school I'm at.  Its going to be so much fun!  This weekend i went to the Movies with my friend from Arizona.  We saw Little Fockers,  it was a good movie.  I don't like to listen to the Movie critics because i usually like what they don't like.  They did not give it good reviews but i thought it was okay!  Yesterday my mom took my brother and i  out to the Park City Outlets!  We love them, i got a pair of jeans for $14, and shirts for like $6..AWESOME!!  We went to a restaurant over there that i thought there straws were way cool!

Bachelor

Anyone watch the Bachelor Monday night??  Well i did, and think this season is going to be really good.  My favorite episode is always the first one.  I like to try and guess who they will choose for the first impression rose, and who i think will "win" or get engaged.  Last season when Ali was the bachelorette my Grandma and i totally choose Roberto!!   Okay so for this season i guessed Brad would choose Ashley S for the First Impression, and i got it!

5 Dollars and a Soda

Me:  Reegan do you want to earn 5 Dollars tomorrow???

Reegan:  Ummm yeah!!!!!

Me:  Okay, you might have to wear a dress, tights, and a cardigan (my sister is not a girly-girl at all)  so i can take a couple pictures!

Reegan: REALLY??  Fine, but also you have to get me a soda

Me:  Okay!! Great!!

New Years!!!/Goals

I had a wonderful New Years!  Guess what???!!  I found a Circle K in Utah not too far from my Grandmas house.  I now finally feel at home.

 The day got better by spending time with family!  (look at there boots, we switched them! ha we thought it was so funny)

......So here are my goals so far!!

1. I want to run some kind of race.  I have some amazing aunts that have done Marathon's and I'm so jealous.  I know i wont be able to run a marathon but any kind of race i will be just as happy! ha

2.  This goal is for my blog..I want to have a least 5 posts a week.

3.  Be more social!  I know that is so lame but i need to meet more people and have fun.  I think once i start school it will be better.  Count down 2 more weeks!!

4.  Read at least a book a month!  A couple days ago i bought myself a Nook Book and love it!!  Totally recommend it!  I have already read two books.  So guess what if you know anyone else with the nook you can share books for FREE!!  Hint hint if you have one or have the Nook app we should share books! ha 

....Guess what??? In one hour the bachelor comes on!!  Yay

My December in Pictures

Little Late

2010 has been a great year for me!  It also has been a very hard year.  This is what has happened:

• Got Accepted to Byu Idaho
• Donated my Hair..Cut 10 inches off!
• We decided that we needed to sale our home.  

•  Moved to our Farm house so we can sell our house that we have lived in for 11 years.  I LOVED our farm house.  I felt like i was raised there. I miss it so much.  My family and i talk about it everyone day!   (hope you love it lizzy!!)

• Cousin left for his Mission
• Turned 18 (wasn't really exciting)
• Got a job at the Shoe store 
• Graduated High School

• Visited Utah a couple times
• Rodeos
• Learned who my friends are (biggest thing that happened to me in 2010)
• Continued to nanny for my favorite family!!
• Decided that going to Byu Idaho would not be the best thing for me and my family.  It was a hard decision but so grateful i decided not to go.
• Took an institute class at cgcc
• My chickens that i miss so much

•  Circle K
• Went to the river a couple times
• Bought my car!
• My family and i found out that we had to move to Utah in Ten days
• Went to the Byu Game
• Has had some of the best times with family!

2010 was a wonderful year.  I like to think of it as a growing year.  I learned more about myself through all the stressful and hard times.  I realized I'm stronger then i thought.  Grateful for this year and i cant with for 2011!!!
